Project Description
The VIVA Wellness Centre is a $12.4 million reinvention and expansion of the existing community building for the Woodcrest Villa campus. Bright aesthetics and a bustling social scene render a lively atmosphere throughout this 52,000 square foot multipurpose space, which features resources and activities that enhance the daily lives of Woodcrest Villa’s senior community. Social, spiritual, physical, and mental wellness are all catered to through a variety of specialized facilities, including a large lap pool and therapy spa, a 300-person performing arts center, a bistro with formal and casual seating areas, a movie theater, and a billiard room. Large windows, abundant wood features, and tall ceilings contribute to a mood that is simultaneously relaxing and invigorating. Reese Hackman provided full electrical, lighting, mechanical, plumbing, and telecommunications design services for the VIVA Centre.
