We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and architects, contributing to the design and analysis of mechanical systems in building projects. You will also experience firsthand, a mentorship program that guides you through the non-academic side of the industry, how it operates, and teaches you what to expect as you transition from school to your profession.  This internship offers a hands-on learning experience, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects.

    • Prepare and review mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules using Revit software.
    • Conduct energy analysis and modeling to evaluate building performance and optimize system design for energy efficiency.
    • Participate in site inspections to observe the installation of mechanical systems, ensure adherence to design specifications, and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
    • Work alongside engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems with other building elements.
    • Participate in design and coordination meetings with clients and design team members.
    • Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and codes related to mechanical systems in building design.
  • Opportunities to develop professional networks.
  • Potential for future full-time employment.

  • Completed coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, HVAC design, and CAD software.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IMC).
  • Experience or interest in BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP) workflow.
