Vista Ridge Independent Living, located in historic Oxford, Pennsylvania, is the exciting new addition to Ware Presbyterian Village. This community, which is situated on an exquisitely landscaped 77-acre campus, elevates senior living to a heightened level of elegance with their spacious accommodations. The expansion of Vista Ridge consisted of 101,312 square feet of new apartments and the 24,000 square foot Vista Ridge Pavilion. The pavilion houses a formal dining area, bistro, bar, conference rooms, lounges, library, and a multi-purpose banquet hall with a full kitchen. Reese Hackman provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, as well as lighting design services, for this project. A significant design feature is the geothermal heat pump system consisting of 110 individual wells that are 500 feet deep. The system, which is cleverly tucked away under parking lots and roadways, serves two 3-story assisted living apartment buildings and a central, 2-story community building. These enhancements will continue Vista Ridge’s tradition of providing vibrant, elegant, and fulfilling accommodations for their residents.
